College of Medicine Hosts Successful "Coffee with Your Mentor" Event On October 17, 2023.

The College of Medicine at Alfaisal University hosted its successful "Coffee with Your Mentor" event for first-year students. Over 500 students, mentors, and counselors attended the event.Students engaged in meaningful one-on-one conversations with their mentors and counselors, setting the foundation for strong relationships and a supportive community. Informative booths were set up by the Academic Affairs office, Academic Success Center, and Counseling and Skills Development Unit.

The Mentorship Program promoted the culture of mentorship through eye-catching posters, e-screen displays, and social media. Delicious coffee and donuts created a relaxed atmosphere, and fun activities such as card games added excitement.The event would not have been successful without the support of Dean and VP of Finance and Administration Dr. Khaled Al-Kattan, Executive Director of Strategic Planning and Sustainability Dr. Wael Al-Kattan, and all the mentors.

College of Medicine New Student Orientation August 27th, 2023

Alfaisal University's College of Medicine successfully hosted an Orientation Day on August 27th, extending a warm welcome to over 500 new medical students for the 2023-2024 academic year. Set within the Princess Haya Auditorium, the event served as a platform to introduce students to the curriculum, assessment methods, and tech tools pivotal to their journey. Distinguished speakers, including College Dean Professor Khaled Al-Kattan and Vice Dean Dr. Dana Bakheet, personally greeted the students.

Faculty members provided insights into the curriculum and assessment processes, while seasoned students adeptly guided newcomers on utilizing Moodle and the "My Alfaisal" app. This collaborative effort between the Mentorship Program, faculty, and MSA seamlessly connected students with the institution's wealth of resources and robust support systems.
